Northstar Marine is an recognized leader in responding to marine spills, and owns an extensive inventory of specialized equipment including boats, barges, skimming systems, containment booms and shore-side storage tanks to address spills of any size.  In addition to marine oil spills, we also address the shoreline and equipment cleanup associated with these spills. We provide 24/7 Emergency Response services, and have developed an outstanding reputation for the quality of our work, our responsiveness and our ability to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Northstar Marine is a preferred subcontractor to National Response Corporation (NRC) and Marine Spill Response Corporation (MSRC) and provides emergency response services for Worst Case Discharge (WCD) scenarios.  As a partner to both nationally-recognized organizations, our experienced crew trains on their specialized equipment and is responsible for its operation in emergency situations.  In the summer of 2010, Northstar Marine played a significant role in the BP spill response and clean-up operation.

Northstar Marine is also preferred subcontractor to the Delaware Bay and River Cooperative (DBRC), a not-for-profit corporation organized to respond to and offer protection from oil spills from the mouth of the Delaware Bay to the Betsy Ross Bridge in Philadelphia.  We are also a member of the Spill Control Association of America (SCAA), the leading trade group in the oil spill response industry.

We are fully equipped to contain, remove and dispose of oil in strict accordance with local, state and federal regulations. In addition, our fleet of various size and type vessels as well as trucks, track excavators, loaders, backhoes and a host of other equipment gives us the mobility that is necessary to work in difficult environments and hard to reach areas.
